2. Log Data & Analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics service (Umami Analytics) to understand our website traffic. This service does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data or PII. All of the data is in aggregate only.

3. Local Storage

To provide a seamless experience, KickTheater uses your browser's local storage to save your preferences and session information. This includes your stream layout, authentication tokens (`access_token`, `refresh_token`), and security data (`code_verifier`). This data is stored only on your computer and is essential for the login feature to work across page reloads. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's cache and site data.

4. Third-Party Services

Our Service embeds content from and interacts with Kick.com's API. We do not control Kick.com's data collection or privacy practices. We encourage you to review Kick.com's own privacy policy.

5. Security

We take security seriously. The authentication process uses the industry-standard OAuth 2.1 protocol with PKCE. Your `client_secret` is never exposed to the browser. All sensitive token exchanges happen on our secure backend. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

The ad banner is designed to be non-intrusive and user-friendly:

• Format: It is a simple, static text link. We do not support pop-ups, video, or sound-based ads.
• Display Cycle: The banner is not always visible. It appears for a short duration at random intervals to maintain a clean user interface.
• Placement: The ad occupies its own dedicated space and does not cover or interfere with any site functionality.
