Frequently Asked Questions
KickTheater is free, sign-up-free, and built to get you watching in seconds. Here's exactly how it works.
Getting started
What is KickTheater?
KickTheater is a free multi-stream viewer for Kick.com. Instead of juggling a dozen browser tabs, you type in the streamers you want, drop them into a custom grid, and watch — and chat with — all of them from one screen. No app to install, no account required to start.
Is it actually free? What's the catch?
No catch. KickTheater is free with no premium tier, no stream limit paywall, and no account required to use the core viewer. It's an independent, community-built project — not a Kick.com product.
Do I need to sign up or download anything?
Nope. Open the site, type in a few usernames (or browse live streams to pick some), and hit Launch. You're watching in seconds, entirely in your browser. The only time you'd log in is if you want to send chat messages using your own Kick account.
How do I add streams to my grid?
Two ways: type usernames straight into the search box (comma-separated, with live autocomplete as you type), or click "Browse" to pick from everyone currently live on Kick, filterable by language. Inside the app, you can keep adding, removing, and rearranging streams at any time.
How the grid works
How many streams can I watch at once?
As many as your screen and connection can comfortably handle — the grid resizes to fit whatever you throw at it. Most people land on 2–4 for a clean view, but you're never capped.
Can I rearrange the streams?
Yes. Use Edit Layout to drag tiles into the order and positions you want — your main stream can take up more space than the rest, or everything can stay evenly sized. It's completely up to you.
Will I lose my setup if I close the tab or refresh?
No — your current lineup is kept live in the page's URL as you build it, so refreshing or bookmarking that link brings back the exact same grid. No account or manual "save" step needed.
Can I share my layout with a friend?
Yes — since your lineup lives in the URL, hitting the Share button copies that link, and sending it hands your friend the identical grid. They click it and land straight in the same app, no setup on their end.
What's Theater Mode?
One click hides every button, border, and control so the screen is nothing but your streams, edge to edge. Great for a second monitor or when you just want the content, not the interface.
Chat
Can I chat while watching multiple streams?
Yes. Every stream's chat is one click away in the sidebar, and you can pin two chats side-by-side to follow both at once with Split Chat — or hide the chat panel entirely for a clean, video-only view.
Do I need to log in to chat?
You can read every chat without logging in. To send messages, log in with your own Kick account — KickTheater uses Kick's official login so you're posting as yourself, without leaving the grid to open Kick.com separately.
Trust & troubleshooting
Is KickTheater affiliated with Kick.com?
No. KickTheater is an independent, community-built project and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Kick.com. See our About page for more.
What data does KickTheater collect about me?
Your layout is kept in the page URL and your browser's local storage — not on a KickTheater server. If you log in to chat, authentication is handled directly with Kick's own login system. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Does KickTheater work on mobile and every browser?
KickTheater runs in any modern browser, including mobile. For the smoothest multi-stream experience — custom layouts, split chat, several streams at once — a desktop browser like Chrome or Firefox on a larger screen is recommended.
A stream isn't loading — what do I do?
First, double-check the streamer is actually live and the username is spelled correctly — the autocomplete dropdown is the fastest way to confirm both. If a live stream still won't load, try removing and re-adding that tile, or refresh the page (your layout will come right back). Still stuck? Contact us and let us know what happened.
